Who is behind it
Matheus Ramos is the founder of Gauss and currently Head of Products at Q2 Ingressos, where he leads the roadmap of a ticketing platform used by millions of people in Brazil.
Gauss was born out of personal frustration: he tried the leading personal finance apps on the market and abandoned them all for the same reason — the friction of opening the app at the moment of the expense. He wanted a friend who would take care of household finances, without needing yet another application. Since that friend didn't exist, he built one.
How Gauss thinks
- Content without invention. Every statistic on the blog has a source with a link. When there is no verifiable source, the sentence is not published.
- Privacy first. Financial data is handled with rigor; LGPD-compliant; no sale of data to third parties.
- Bilingual by design. PT-BR and English at equivalent quality — not machine translation.
